Pemberton Valley Farms set a pace on the feeder cattle division with fancy Hereford strs 700 lb topping 208.50. Terry Inskip with excellent feeder hfrs weighing 555 lb hit 206.00 and 533 lb hfrs traded to 210.00. Keith & Penny Prigmore from Celista, set the record with a pen of 16 Blk Angus strs 954 lb traded to 170.00 and their 880 lb strs hit 183.00. Frank Van Oyen had 470 lb strs at 225.00 and the 623 lb strs hit 219.00. Joe Grant had 495 lb Blk Angus s/c sell to 255.00. The Rough Creek Cattle Co with fancy 820 lb RBF Replacement hfrs today hit 180.00 and their 1403 lb Butcher Cows set the record at 95.00. Tom & Linda Hancock were in with a top load of calves this week. Their 700 lb Blk Angus hfrs notched 195.00, 18 of their 569 lb h/c set the record at 207.00. Jamie & Maureen Janzen had 665 lb strs sell to 221.00, their 608 lb strs hit 236.00. The Klop Cattle Co showcased a ring full of 761 lb RBF hfrs at 185.00, the 844 lb hfrs brought 172.50. A nice offering of quality cow/calf pairs today, Steve Langenegger’s Red Angus pairs sold to 2375.00. Jim Knight had 580 lb RBF strs from Vernon net 240.00. The Squaw Valley Ranch with a pen of 24 strs 671 lb fancy and good hit 230.25, their pen of 21 Angus x h/c 618 lb hit 200.00. Steven Jontz today had a top set of 600 lb strs all Angus x trade to 232.00. S&S Farms saw their strong 652 lb Blk Angus strs top 219.75. 11 hd of their 605 lb h/c set in at 200.00. Allan Rauch 415 lb s/c topped 270.00. Kingsford Cattle of Princeton had young Blk Angus cow/calf pairs reach 2400.00. John & Kate Anderson had 602 lb hfrs sell to 193.50 and the 524 lb hfrs brought 208.00. Kingsford Cattle 1484 lb Butcher cows hit 97.25. Western Canadian Timber & Farming had 1439 lb cows that brought 94.00. Glen Frankie had 1678 lb Butcher cows top 97.50. What a sale, there was incredible buyer interest today.
