KAMLOOPS REGULAR SALE TUESDAY MARCH 23rd

One of the largest early spring cattle sales we have ever held, as 860 hd of cattle hit the sale ring. It was a wall of quality as the ranchers presented their best to a huge buyer crowd. Tom & Linda Hancock put the muscle to this powerful sale with their 605 lb strs selling to 215.00, their 549 lb s/c hit 226.00, their 800 lb strs marketed 185.50 and 11 hd of their 652 lb blk Angus h/c marked 194.50. Ward Creek Ranch was in today with their Saler x strs right close to 800 lb trading to 189.00.  Walter Bopfinger from Lumby brought a liner load of his fancy Char x calves. 20 hd of h/c weighing 601 lb set a record level at 198.00. Brian Foley & Louise DeMarni had 788 lb blk & red Angus strs hit 191.00. Brian Foley Jr saw his 677 lb fancy strs reach 207.00, the 659 lb blk h/c hit 190.50, and the big fancy 712 lb replacement hfrs sold to 196.00.Howard Smith & Margaret Young from Grand Forks saw their liner load of red & blk Angus hfrs sell well. 32 hd that weighed 651 lb hit 195.00, 25 hd of their 664 lb h/c brought 195.00. Russel Williams 660 lb Angus s/c sold to 215.00. Dan Summers had beautiful red 883 lb hfrs top 174.00. Pike Mountain Ranch 567 lb hfrs sold to 210.00. Russ & Barb Abel had 678 lb blk strs reach 210.00. Bohnet Ranch saw their 559 lb h/c bring 209.00. Jerrod Peterson 506 lb blk strs hit 243.00. Bar Zee Ranch had 600 lb Angus strs top 212.00, the 524 lb strs traded to 234.00. The 20X Ranch had top quality calves, a pen of 610 lb Angus x s/c hit 215.00. 46 hd of their h/c weighing 595 lb topped their weight range at 200.00. Brian & Sidsel Gunderson with Angus cross hfrs at 700 lb trading to 183.00. The Buff Ranch set the pace with 32 hd of their blk Angus strs topping the sale at 217.25 and 19 hd of their 535 lb s/c marked 232.50. The Indian Gardens Ranch had a liner load of top s/c, a pen of 41 s/c 600 lb today hit 219.25. Steve Langenegger butcher cows weighed 1441 lb marking 86.75. Wayne & Jill Hughes 2198 lb butcher bulls topped 118.00. Russ & Barb Abel 1365 lb cows hit 92.00, their 2050 lb bulls saw 116.00. This was one incredible day of solid quality.
