WILLIAMS LAKE SALE - THURSDAY SEPT6th
In Williams Lake Thursday Sept. 6th another strong sale of 804 head of cattle and calves sold through the ring.  Butcher cows and bulls traded very active with Al & Lorraine Sanford’s 1600 lb. Red kill cows selling to 78.50.  Calvin and Katherine Kirsh’s 2165 lb. butcher bull topped 89.50.  Gordon andSandra Fouty’s  1400 lb. kill cows hit 75.50.  Pincott Ranches saw their 2185 lb. butcher bulls sell to 90.50.  The Picard Creek Ranch heavy 1305 lb. Hereford butcher cows topped 77.75.  Clark Tucker’s 1413 lb. butcher cows raced to 77.25.  Brent Grant’s 1645 lb. cows brought 78.75.  A good volume of calves hit the market today.  Dale King’s 485 lb. Black s/c rolled to 162.00, the 328 lb. s/c traded to 177.00.  Pickard Creek Ranch’s 400 lb. Angus s/c hit 181.00, the 325 lb. s/c sold to 187.50, the 375 lb. Red h/c reached 170.50.  On the Video in  house screen the liner load of Dunlevy Ranch 930 lb. steers traded to 125.25.  A great run of quality yearlings sold today.  Ian Robertson’s load of 900 lb. Hereford heifers hit 117.50, the 825 lb. Black steers hit 136.00.  Ralph Zwicker had 919 lb. heifers top 117.00.  Darcy Finch from Hixon had 643 lb. steers race to 143.50, their 835 lb. steers topped 133.25.  Lyle Klein from Quesnel showcased a load of top quality yearlings.  Their 938 lb. Hereford heifers traded to 115.50, 11 head of their 879 lb. Hereford heifers raced to 119.00.  Bob Klien ‘s 1005 lb. steers from Quesnel traded to 122.75, 12 head of their 937 lb. open heifers powered to 118.25.  The LT Ranch 823 lb. Hereford steers raced to 135.00.  Dianna Donnely’s 843 lb. Simm X steers hit 137.00.  Kaylee Weil’s 873 lb. steers traded to 134.00.  Ed & Cheryl Monical set a pace with 841 lb. X bred steers topping 134.50, their 788 lb. Char heifers topped 129.75.
