KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY AUGUST 21ST Today in Kamloops a blockbuster of a cattle sale showing over 1300 head at this exciting special yearling and regular sale. Willard Antoine put the action to our butcher trade with 1785 lb butcher bulls at 88.75. Bill & Lil Cook with 1475 lb butcher cows trading to 75.00. Ed Roberson from Merritt with 1375 lb butcher cows to 75.50. The Boyd Creek Ranch & Dairy from Dunster with 3 powerful liner loads today. Their 1493 lb butcher cows traded to 75.75. A liner load of their 896 lb steers raced to 132.00. 53 head of their 780 lb Blk Red & Char steers to 139.75. 20 head of their 809 lb XBred heifers topped 129.00. Schilling Farms 869 lb ShorthornX steers hit 129.50. Deleeuw Ranch featured three powerful liner loads of Angus steers, their heavy load weighed 1078 lb and hit 121.75, their 1030 lb steers rolled to 124.25. Jim and Laura Symens showcased an outstanding load of 922 lb steers hitting 131.00, while John and Steve Wynnyk’s 843 lb Blk steers hit 132.25. Ted Fowler’s 755 lb Blk heifers sold to 132.25, and Bill Bostock’s 1012 lb Blk steers traded to 122.25. Squaw Valley Ranch had a reputation load of 846 lb Red steers reach 132.75, the 747 lb steers topped 143.50 and their 720 lb fancy heifers raced to 139.00. The Frolek Cattle Co open heifers 905 lb hit 118.25. Andy & Simone Hoglund’s powerful 769 lb steers from Vernon traded to 140.50. The Buse Creek Ranch 979 lb steers traded to 127.75, their 923 lb steers topped 129.25, and their 902 lb heifers reached 127.50. The Deanfield Ranch 896 lb Hereford steers topped 129.75. The X3 Ranch set a pace with a liner load of yearlings from Merritt. Their 851 lb steers topped 132.75, with their 761 lb steers topping 142.25. Hugh and Marilyn Fallis had 950 lb Red steers trade to 129.50 and Bill Nichol’s 643 lb Angus heifers sold to 141.00. Quilchena Cattle Co sold 300 yearling heifers on TEAM this morning. The heavy 867 lb Red Baldy heifers brought 124.75, the 819 lb heifers hit 127.25, and the 754 lb heifers traded at 131.50. Next week another powerful sale planned. Call us to have your cattle listed.
