It’s too wet to hay so we went to selling cattle. 250 hd showed up and we had a top notch sale. Only about 50 feeder cattle in the sale but there was certainly no lack of quality. 7 Up Ranch (Burns Lk) had 803  lb tan strs strike 186.00, 682  lb strs at 203.50, and 707  lb char hfrs hit 185.50. Guy Bambauer (Van) had 678 lb Hereford x strs fetch 200.00. Thys Jaarsma (Telkwa) saw his 779 lb hfrs bring 172.75. Little Valley Farms (Van) in with a liner load of cows, their top sort was a ring load of 1372 lb cows that notched 87.00. Dave Johnson (Fort Fraser) showed 1378 lb cows worth 89.00. Pelican Lk Ranch (Batnuni Lk) had 1292 lb cows fetch 84.50, a 1815 lb red bull that saw 110.00 and an 1880 lb rwf bull at 109.00. Down Under Ranch (Van) had 1410 lb cows crack 87.00 and a 2000 lb Char bull force 114.00. Mountain View Ranch (Van) saw their 1970 lb Simm bull push to 115.00. Pooles Arrow Ranch (Punchaw) had a 2030 lb Simm bull match 115.00. Brock Young (Van) in with a 2045 lb bull that also topped the market at 115.00.
