The Best Bet Bull Sale, Mitchell Cattle Co. & Crosby Cattle Co., was one of the best bull sales we have ever held! It was fast paced and quality was guaranteed! Over 400 registered bidders were checking out the bulls on the DLMS internet bidding website during the whole sale. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had only a small crowd in attendance, and we thank everyone for following social distancing protocols and bidding online if able. The high selling Red Angus bull for Mitchell Cattle Co. sold to Stellar Red Angus for 9,000.00. The high selling Black Angus bull for Crosby Cattle Co. was a tie between 2 quality bulls! The 1st was chosen by the Harris Ranch for 5,750.00 and the 2nd sold to Bruce Donaldson & Pam Blain, also for 5,750.00. The 2 high selling Red Simmental Bulls for Mitchell Cattle Co. was won by the Bohnet Ranch for 9,250.00 which was matched in a tie with the Pooles Arrow Ranch for a 2nd Red Simmental Bull. The high selling Black Simmental bull from Mitchell Cattle Co. was chosen by DMS Ranch out of Vanderhoof, BC for 9,250.00, The interest was huge from both BC and Alberta as these powerful herd sires were quickly selected by industry leading ranches.
