KAMLOOPS REGULAR SALE, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11th, 2020

We saw a solid sale in Kamloops today with 275 hd of cattle sold through the ring and 450 hd of hfrs marketed through our in-house video sale. We had a good volume of grasser type calves that sold strong today. Henry Reis, of Prince George, had 710 lb strs that powered up to 191.00. Legacy Ranch was in with solid, 508 lb Angus hfrs that rolled up to 200.00. Alex Winkler’s top 800 lb, Angus x strs reached 179.00, his 732 lb strs sold to 190.00 and his 688 lb hfrs brought 180.00. Brian & Sidsel Gunderson’s reputation 664 lb strs sold to 211.50 and their 735 lb Angus strs traded to 191.00. Hani & Theres Gasser, of McBride, saw their 675 lb strs notch 205.00 and their 630 lb hfrs at 189.00. Rob & Arlene Smith’s fancy 942 lb Blk strs traded up to 177.75. Joyce Andrew’s 363 lb b/c topped 245.00. Bill & Kelly Jackson’s 468 lb Red h/c settled at 210.00. Alex Lytvynenko’s 763 lb Red strs traded to 192.00. Dirk & Joyan Vandermeer’s 490 lb h/c hit 205.00. At 11:00 am we showcased the Guichon Creek Ranch’s Angus x hfrs. 300 hd of 620 lb grasser hfrs sold via BC Livestock video sale and marched up to 194.25. Dave & Debbie Brace’s 3rd load, 150 hd of top hfrs, called 685 lb, reached 185.00. Butcher and Feeder cows traded higher today. The Squaw Valley Ranch’s 1425 lb cows brought 92.00 and their 2050 lb butcher bull powered right up to 107.00. Sundance Guest Ranch’s 1600 lb butcher cows sold at 92.50. Hartridge Ranch’s 1145 lb butcher cows grabbed 90.00. We would like to send huge thanks out to all our contributors, buyers and staff for keeping our sales strong!
