It was another powerful sale here in Williams Lake as just under 1800 hd of quality cattle hit the ring. Calves made up over 1000 hd, with some yearlings to follow, and the balance was butcher cows & bulls. The Gang Ranch put the fire to this 1st class sale as they showcased 200 powerful Blk Angus h/c. The 1st liner load of 124 incredible Blk Angus h/c, 425 lb, hit 208.25 and their load of 460 lb, fancy h/c saw 205.25. The Diamond Island Ranch was in with a top pen of Angus & Angus/Simm x, 646 lb s/c that topped our trade at 195.00. The big boys, 719 lb Simm/Blk Angus x s/c brought 190.00 and their 586 lb s/c raced to 207.00. The top sort of their 642 lb h/c was incredible and hit 177.50. Don Willmann, Willmann Farms, saw his ring full of 24 big, powerful, Blk Angus s/c, 711 lb, traded to 190.50. 18 hd of his 618 lb, fancy s/c notched 203.00 and his 541 lb s/c hit 221.50. The Jackpine Ranch had 495 lb, fancy Blk Angus s/c top 240.50. Ron Swinburne was in with 448 lb Blk s/c that raised 243.00. The Huisman Family, Pelican Lake Ranch, saw their 553 lb Angus x s/c reach 209.00, their 637 lb s/c traded to 194.25 and their 582 lb h/c sold to 175.00, while their 500 lb h/c hit 187.00. Eli & Terra Hatch had 533 lb Simm x h/c reach 192.00 and their 470 lb h/c brought 206.00. Roger Williams & Wanda Dorsey’s 555 lb Simm x h/c sold to 179.00 while their 455 lb h/c topped 208.00. 50 Bar Ranch brought in 600 lb Angus s/c that traded to 205.00 and their 453 lb s/c topped 249.00. Hartridge Ranch’s 536 lb Angus x s/c sold to 215.00 and their 589 lb Char x h/c hit 180.00. Pat Roach had 454 lb Blk Angus s/c top 254.00. The Chilancho Ranch’s solid, 566 lb Blk Angus s/c rolled right up to 214.50. The Redl Ranch was in with 869 lb yearling strs that marked 181.50 while their 814 lb strs saw 182.25.
