Williams Lake Bred Sale Nov 6 & Regular Sale Nov 7, 2019

Williams Lake Stockyards showcased the annual November 6^th Bred Heifer & Bred Cow Sale. A capacity crowd enjoyed the tremendous quality of 800 hd on offer. Ed & Cheryl Monical opened the sale with a beautiful group of Red Angus / Gelbvieh x, 1100 lb bred hfrs that topped 2075.00 and their outstanding 1075 lb, Blk Angus bred hfrs raced to 2050.00. Len & Marvin Tonn saw their quality, 1065 lb Red Angus x bred hfrs top 2010.00. Ken Seutter’s incredible 1300 lb, Red Angus bred hfrs rolled to 2050.00. Steve & Dixie Roberts of Roberts Ranch saw their reputation Blk Angus bred hfrs top 2025.00. Bobbie Jean Schalles had her Blk Baldy bred hfrs sell to 1850.00. Seguin Cattle Co. started our herd dispersal sales. The top end of their 2^nd calving Blk Angus, early calving, bred cows traded to 2300.00 and their young, 3^rd calvers set the price bar at 2475.00 per hd. The herd reduction sale for Roger Williams & Wanda Dorsey was top quality. Their powerful Simm/Red Angus x cows hit 1925.00 and their beautiful young Reds traded to 1975.00. Eli & Terra Hatch saw their excellent Red Angus/Simm x bred cows bring 1800.00. The Mel Gulbranson Complete Dispersal Sale of 180 hd of quality Angus bred cows was also top notch. Their fancy 3^rd calving Blk Angus bred cows traded to 1900.00 and their 2^nd calvers hit 1890.00 while their young, May calving Blk Angus cows topped 1750.00. Dennis Kearney had 2^nd calving Blk Angus bred cows sell to 1850.00. Another 1500 hd rolled through the ring at Thursday’s Calf & Regular Sale. The sale started off strong with the Gang Ranch setting the pace with 120 hd of their fancy, 447 lb, Blk Angus s/c that raced to 236.00. Their next pen of 504 lb Blk Angus s/c notched 220.00. Barrie Jacobson had 500 lb Red Angus h/c hit 187.00 and the big sisters, just under 600 lb, saw 176.50. The Dunlevy Ranch presented a great pen of 44 Angus x h/c, 483 lb, that sold to 189.00 and their pen of 382 lb h/c marched up to 202.00. K&D and T& D Ilnicki had 553 lb, Angus x s/c hit 210.00 and their 621 lb Blk s/c powered to 202.00. Their 594 lb h/c brought 185.00. Jerry & Bernice Hook saw their load of 700 lb Red x s/c top 198.50, their 790 lb s/c reached 194.00 and their 752 lb Red h/c traded to 175.00. Their 524 lb h/c notched 190.00. Clint & Karen Thompson, of the San Jose Cattle Co. saw their 475 lb Blk Angus s/c sell to 229.00. Their 562 lb Blk s/c topped 215.00 and a beautiful group of their 463 lb h/c powered to 194.50. Norm & Dianne Wood filled the ring with 640 lb, Blk Angus, replacement quality h/c that topped their weight range at 177.50. Glen Mighton topped our butcher cow trade with 1605 lb cows that saw 82.00. Huge thank you to all our contributors and buyers who kicked off this years Bred Sales. It was a busy week for sure!
