KAMLOOPS REGULAR SALE, TUESDAY, APRIL 23rd

We had impressive numbers in Kamloops again this week as another 800 hd rolled through the ring. Grass cattle were the big sellers and were they ever selling strong! Ivan Card saw his powerful 706 lb Blk Angus hfrs bring 180.50. Hugh & Helen Fraser set the trend for Blk Angus replacement quality hfrs, 823 lb, trading to 170.00. The big sisters, at 918 lb, notched 164.75. Diana Fraser saw her 862 lb Blk Angus replacement hfrs roll up to 170.25. Len Tonn had 531 lb Char x h/c top 214.00. The Meadow Creek Ranch saw their 490 lb X bred s/c race to 250.50 and their 688 lb strs topped 226.00. Dave & John Harrison set the bar high today as they saw their 681 lb Hereford strs power to 211.00, their 564 lb s/c notched 238.50 and 22 hd of their 624 lb strs brought 225.00. Their 537 lb hfrs marched up to 206.00. Brian Foley & Louise DeMarni, were in with solid 685 lb Angus x hfrs that powered to 193.00. Brian Foley Jr. had a top pen of 661 lb hfrs fill the ring that traded to 196.00 and his 587 lb Blk s/c sold to 239.75. John Grawehr had 513 lb Angus s/c hit 245.00 and his 611 lb strong strs topped a solid 232.00. Stephen & Yolanda Jontz were in with 668 lb s/c that hit 227.25 and their pen of 25 h/c, 638 lb, saw 198.00. Phil & Shirley Johnston had 948 lb strs top 176.00 and their 741 lb hfrs hit 184.00. The Salle Ranch had a top pen of 24 strs, at 714 lb, that brought 216.00, and their pen of fancy 616 lb strs saw 234.50. The Russell & Barb Abel Ranch had quality 1200 lb butcher cows that marched up to 92.00. Kris King brought Blk Angus cow / calf pairs that traded to 2000.00 per pair. RRTS Charolais saw their 1428 lb Char cows sell to 92.75. Randy & Wendy Prebushewski had 1,400 lb cows that notched 89.75. This was one unbelievable sale from start to finish.
