KAMLOOPS REGULAR SALE, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12th 2019

Doug & Laurie Haughton and Family presented an in-house video sale today at the Kamloops sale. They had 300 powerful, reputation Angus and Angus x hfrs, called 765 lb, that were the centre piece and main attraction of the day. Every order buyer fought hard to own these beautiful hfrs that traded up to 176.00 per lb. In the regular sale, Paul Baker had 635 lb blk s/c sell to 207.50 and his 555 lb s/c reached 215.00. River Ranch Cattle Co. saw their 410 lb s/c top 229.00 and their 590 lb h/c sold at 188.00. Their 1800 lb kill cows hit 83.50. RRTS Charolais had 1300 lb young cows sell to 88.75, and their 1375 lb butcher cows brought 87.00. Buse Creek Ranch’s 1118 lb solid strs notched 159.75. Carsten Peterson had 1640 lb butcher cows hit 88.75. Dan & Sandy Callaghan had 360 lb Red x s/c power up to 241.00. Steven Huwer’s 1100 lb Red x hfrs sold to 158.00. Brian Foley & Louise DeMarni had 1465 lb butcher cows top 84.50 and their 1090 lb hfrt traded at 150.00. This was one incredible sale to watch! Both cows and feeder cattle were stronger this week, despite the cold!
