KAMLOOPS REGULAR SALE, TUESDAY, JANUARY 9th, 2018

Kamloops opened strong with excellent numbers to start off 2019. We saw another 400 hd power through the sale ring. Fred Bowers was the market leader as he showcased 80 top Hereford & Hereford / Red Angus x calves. His top quality pen of 741 lb rbf s/c hit 198.75. His 592 lb s/c sold at 217.00. Dan & Janette Speller saw their excellent quality 560 lb Blk Angus s/c top 217.00. Ed Roberson presented 583 lb Blk Angus b/c that marked 203.00 and his 470 lb Blk Angus h/c marched to 190.00. Keith & Marnie Manders set a pace with 760 lb Blk Angus s/c that topped 195.00. The Seven O Ranch brought us some excellent calves this week. Their 775 lb s/c hit 196.00 and their 675 lb Red Angus x s/c raced to 201.50. Their pen of 11 young feeder type cows charged ahead to 86.50 and their butcher bulls, 2065 lb, sold at 98.00. Don Glover  was in with heavy 714 lb Blk Angus s/c that marked 196.00. Karl, Isabelle and Dave Wabnegger saw their powerful, ranch raised 715 lb strs race all the way to 196.00 and their 1453 lb, solid butcher cows rolled up to 83.00. Buse Creek Ranch’s  1650 lb cows hit 86.75. Kathy & Brandon Duncan brought in 1469 lb butcher cows that reached 85.00. Nicola Ranch’s  top kill cows brought 86.25. Squaw Valley Ranch’s big Char Butcher Bull traded at 101.00. The Indian Gardens Ranch rolled in with 854 lb Angus x hfrs that topped our trade at 173.50 and their young hfrts set a pace, racing to 122.00. A huge Thank You to all our contributors and buyers.
