VANDERHOOF  SALE—FRIDAY  MAY 25th
668 head of cattle were sold in Vanderhoof on Friday.  Scott Meyers set the pace for the sale with his Red & Black Angus X  665 lb. steers selling for 158.25.  Scotts 789 lb. Angus X steers traded for 136.25,  along with his 570 lb. steers which sold for 173.50 and his 528 lb. steers traded to 173.00 even.  Seven Up Ranch from Colley Mount BC sold 614 lb. Char X heifers for 153.75 and their 553 lb. heifers at 162.00 even.  Menno Amendt 538 lb. Angus X heifers sold for 160.00 even, and Menno’s 481 lb. heifers at 164.50.  John Bailey 1645 lb. butcher cows sold for 78.50, along with his Red Angus bull at 2035 lbs. sold for 95.50.  Jason Beier sold his Black bull 2180 lb. for 91.75.  Bill & Barb Ephrom 1295 lb. Angus heiferett traded to 102.00 even.  Jim Griffith 1100 lb.  heifers traded for 112.00.  Ken & Lynn Ginter sold 25 cow/calf pairs from 1450.00 to 1710.00 per pair.  Groot Brothers from Houston had some powerful butcher bulls.  Char X bull 2370 lb. traded to 99.00 even.
