KAMLOOPS SALE, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2018

Wow Kamloops today was wild, we hit over 1550 hd when we count the in house video sale. It was rock and roll and the crew did a top job. The Ogilivie Stock Farm set the trend as they showcased a top group of Hereford calves. Their 632 lb s/c hit 213.25 and their incredible 561 lb s/c topped 218.25. Paul LaFave, from Pritchard saw his 611 lb blk Angus s/c trade to 215.00 and his 582 lb h/c  race to 194.00. Kitzel Cattle Co woke the buyers up with one top set of Red Angus Simm X s/c weighing 657 lb trade to 211.50, 21 hd of their fancy 584 lb Angus X s/c notch 218.25 and 16 hd of their 481 lb h/c march to 207.00. Ian & Brenda Jones had a great group of 522 lb blk Angus s/c top 222.00 and a beautiful pen of 500 lb h/c raced to 205.00. Brian & Kim Stuart had 543 lb blk s/c top 221.00, their 545 lb s/c hit 230.50 and 402 lb h/c reach 220.00. Kurt & Joanne Holmes saw their 633 lb blk s/c top 217.00 and their 568 lb blk h/c sell to 194.75. Dona Pawloff’s, 580 lb tan s/c hit 217.50. Dirk & Joyan Vandermeer showcased their 536 lb blk s/c selling to 220.50, the 486 lb s/c hit 228.00 and a big shot of their 463 lb h/c that reached 213.00. Granberg Ranch had 417 lb h/c hit 217.50. The Estate of Forrest Walkem set the pace with 612 lb blk & red Angus s/c that hit 216.00, the 547 s/c saw 220.00, the 714 lb s/c raced to 205.50 and 9 hd of the 569 lb blk Angus h/c saw 194.50. The Bernese Meadow Ranch had huge 656 lb Simm/Angus X s/c that traded to 213.75, 18 hd of their powerful 574 lb s/c notched 218.50. Dan & Marilyn Moss, from Birch Island, had big strong 600 lb s/c top 216.25, their 504 lb s/c hit 223.75 and their 560 lb blk baldie h/c trade to 194.50. Herb Bulman had 578 lb s/c top 216.50. The Stirling Creek Ranch from Hedley with the in house video sale sold a liner load of 660 lb Angus Char X s/c that sold for 215.00. The second liner load of 550 lb s/c hit 224.00 and the third liner load of 575 h/c rolled to 199.75. Well what a sale, the speed and quality was excellent. Next week is huge as we will see another 2000 hd, mostly calves but yearlings and butcher cows and bulls will be on offer as well.
