KAMLOOPS SALE, TUESDAY, JULY 24th, 2018

The yearlings are coming to town and the buyers filled the ring wall to wall, fighting to own these top quality yearlings! A few calves came today and butcher cows & bulls rounded off the 200 hd we had in Kamloops today. Frank Van Oyen had 613 lb Hereford hfrs that traded to 202.50, his 745 lb hfrs notched 190.00 and his 720 lb strs raced to 216.50. Aldergrove Limousin set a pace with 842 lb strs that saw 195.00. Their 703 lb strs raced to 216.00 and their 760 lb hfrs hit 194.50. Colin & Julie Holt from the Bar 0 7 Ranch saw their 875 lb spayed hfrs trade to 185.00 and their 754 lb Angus x strs raced to 211.25. LaMar Farms brought 935 lb strs that rolled up to 190.00. 17 head of their 956 lb spayed hfrs reached 180.00 and 9 hd of their 800 lb spayed hfrs notched 193.25. Kyle & Kyla Good had their 837 lb spayed hfrs trade up to 188.75. The Arrowhead Ranch in with 937 lb strs that brought 191.00 and their 845 lb strs saw 203.50. David Knowles’ 650 lb s/c hit 208.50. Bill Armstrong had 1740 lb butcher cows sell to 100.25. Peter Poole set a pace with 625 lb s/c racing to 229.50. We had some cow / calf pairs from Frank Van Oyen that traded up to 1950.00. James Huwer also had pairs that topped 1900.00 and his 1060 lb strs hit 182.00. Tony Souto from OK Falls had top quality 428 lb h/c trade to 228.00. The Palmer Ranch from Vernon was in with 610 lb hfrs selling to 210.00 and their 690 lb hfrs hit 206.25. Tamihi Ranching brought in a fancy young Char bull that raced all the way up to 151.50. George Little saw his 1545 lb butcher cows sell to 103.00 and his 1870 lb red bull hit 119.00. Mitchell Cattle Co. had 2335 lb butcher bulls top 128.25. Our next top sale is booked for Tuesday, August 7th. Yearlings and calves will be the trade talk that day, 200 hd listed already!
