A solid sale of 505 hd of cattle trading today. Good ness this was one strong sale with huge local interest pushing sales sharply higher. Walter Bopfinger from Lumby in with an incredible load of Char X calves, their 550 lb s/c hit 234.00 and their pen of 481 lb Char h/c hit 219.00. John & Susan Massey  had 385 lb s/c race to 247.00. Silvervale Farms put the buyers on the edge of their seats with 900 lb Blk Angus strs topping 170.00 and a pen of their 763 lb strs met 191.00. Dan & Janette Speller presented a top group of blk Angus hfrs, their pen of nine 734 lb hfrs saw 180.50, their 833 lb hfrs reached 180.00. Brian & Sidsel Gunderson set a pace with 788 lb blk Angus strs topping 185.00 and 721 lb strs notching 192.00. LaMar Farms 830 lb Char strs hit 180.00 with 820 lb hfrs notching 176.00. Ed & Marie Hazelwood had 505 lb blk Angus h/c mark 212.00. Norm Breen had s/c at 600 lb notch 227.00 and 550 lb h/c at 209.75. Neville & Louise Smith had 688 lb Char X h/c sell to 182.00. Schilling Farms saw their 749 lb hfrs top 175.50. The Indian Gardens Ranch set one incredible pace as they filled the ring with 48 fancy Angus X h/c, 554 lb, that traded to 210.00. Their next group of 66 h/c, All Angus X and 476 lb, notched 218.00. Butcher Bulls were selling sharply higher today. Mitchell Cattle Co.’s 2465 lb bulls topped our bull trade at 114.50.
