A record breaking sale for numbers here in Kamloops as 2600 head of cattle went through the ring. What a calf sale, the quality today was unbelievable. A full front row of buyers loved them and bidding was electric. Roberta Moses put this sale into action with 623 lb blk Angus s/c at 215.00. Her beautiful 528 lb h/c today saw 206.50. Ernie & Julie Reid in with top 635 lb blk Angus s/c marking 213.00. Norm Breen with heavy calves from Princeton. His 678 lb Angus X s/c today hit 210.25. Dirk Vandermeer filled the ring with 17 blk Angus s/c, 556 lbs, they raced to 222.00. Their 533 lb h/c smashed 210.50. Ian & Brenda Jones had 604 lb blk s/c reach 216.50. Their 542 lb s/c hit 223.50 and their 533 lb h/c sold at 210.50. Lynn & Tony Letchford with 647 lb red Angus X s/c racing to 213.25. Jason & Susan McGillivary set a pace as their pen of 40 blk Angus s/c, 660 lbs, raced to 215.00. Kyle Greenwell showcased his 672 lb blk s/c that sold at 217.25. Leroy & Bernadine Peters in with 200 top calves, 27 head of their s/c just under 600 lbs, all Angus X, powered to 224.25. The big boys, 39 head at 672 lbs reached 218.00 and their 553 lb h/c cracked 206.00.  Silver Hills Ranch had 625 lb blk s/c sell to 217.75. Kelly Wallden in with some top calves today, her 340 lb s/c reached 282.50 and her 330 lb h/c raced to 258.00. Spray Creek Ranch’s 537 lb red X s/c hit 222.75. Mitchell Cattle Co filled the ring with their 755 lb simm s/c that sold to 203.00. Their load of 679 lb s/c rolled to 220.75 and their 680 lb h/c hit 192.25. Fraser Ranches in with top quality Black Angus X 677 lb s/c that sold to 215.00. Maurice & Jean Alain with some of the heaviest calves, their 801 lb s/c raced to 182.00. The 8 Mile Ranch had powerful Angus X s/c, 639 lb, they notched 214.00. 19 head of their 600 lb s/c rolled to 216.00. 18 head of their 151 lb Angus h/c saw 209.25. The Calton Cattle Co.’s heavy 702 lb Red Angus / Sim X s/c hit 204.50. Bob & Dori Hampton had a great set of Angus calves, their 650 lb s/c hit 214.00 and their 617 lb s/c marked 218.50. The Rex Peak Ranch saw their fancy 633 lb Black Angus X s/c race to 217.50, their fancy 583 lb blk Angus h/c saw 199.50. Rauch Ranch topped the day with their 537 lb blk s/c hitting 225.50 and their 639 lb s/c traded to 216.75. Ted Steiger with 598 lb blk s/c selling to 216.50. Jim & Anne Allendal had 772 lb s/c hit 206.25 and their 635 lb s/c sold to 215.50. Fred & Barb Watkinson with a liner of top calves. Their 658 lb s/c, all Angus X, hit 213.00. The Indian Gardens Ranch  calves today were powerful quality, their 482 lb Angus X s/c hit 239.50. Next week, October 31st, will be another stellar sale.
