KAMLOOPS SALE TUESDAY JULY 25^TH

Not huge receipts today but 350 head hit the sale ring. The bulk of the sale today was butcher cows and bulls. Only a few yearlings were on offer. Our big yearling sale is Tuesday, Aug. 8th, only 2 weeks away with 600 yearlings listed. Rex/Trish Duncan from Valemount put the fire to our butcher bull trade with 1840 lb bulls marking 125.00. Ed Roberson from Merritt saw his 1940 lb bulls mark 128.50. Ed filled the ring with a top pen of butcher cows 1345 lbs, they traded to 101.00. Brian & Kim Stuart saw their young 1065 lb Black Angus hieferettes track to 120.00, their 820 lb hfrs today notched 162.00. Brian Foley & Louise De Marni had 1375 lb cows trade to 101.50. Ty Lytton had 660 lb steers today mark 193.00. Cecil Louis from Vernon today with 612 lb Longhorn x steers racing to 111.00. Liske Farms from Vancouver Island saw their powerful 920 lb Red Angus hfrs power to 152.00. North Thompson Heritage Farm’s 758 lb Char cross steers powered to 188.00. Ian & Brenda Jones 493 lb Angus s/c sold to 214.00. Their 587 lb black hfrs reached 190.00. Tom & Linda Hancock’s 1605 lb bull brought 118.00. Kurt & Joanne Holmes 460 lb Angus s/c hit 221.00. Deanfield Ranch’s 1469 lb butcher cows traded to 99.25, the 1188 lb cows topped 102.00. Pat Deleurme’s 18 hd of Red and Black Angus x 778 lb hfrs 170.00. The Hiwan Ranch’s Red Angus 656 lb hfrs topped 174.50. Bernese Meadows Ranch’s 6 hd of Red/Semi x 1683 lb butcher cows 104.25. Bernese Meadows 1452 lb Red/Semi x butcher cows 104.00. The OK Ranch today with young 1290 lb hiefferettes to 115.00. J.N. Palmer from Vernon saw their 700 lb red & red baldie steers trade to 193.00. Jamie Payton with a top load of cows today as well as his 1416 lb butcher cows raced to 102.75. No  sale here next week but get ready Aug 8th, 2 weeks away the start of our fall run with yearling sales = 600 yearlings listed now.
