KAMLOOPS SALE , MARCH 7^TH

Huge receipts in Kamloops today as we handled another 700 head of cattle plus the huge RRTS Charolais Bull Sale. Feeder cattle were powerful. 2H Farms from Pritchard put the strength to our butcher trade with 1995 lb bulls marking 106.00. Hat Creek Land & Cattle Co. saw their 2180 lb butcher bulls mark 116.00, their 2085 lb bulls hit 120.00. Wayne & Jill Hughes put the power to our butcher cow trade with 1642 lb Angus cows marking 95.00. Warren & Trudy Schweb from Salmon Arm had 1367 lb butcher cows mark 95.50. Mountain Charolais from Pemberton put the go to our feeder trade as they saw their 560 lb Char h/c mark 172.00.  Bill & Maureen Hadden from 100 Mile House had 648 lb h/c mark 159.00. Louie Katona from Merritt had 543 lb s/c today mark 207.00, their 475 lb s/c saw 218.00, their 575 lb h/c hit 171.00. From Dunster today Russell Meadow Dairy filled the ring with a powerful group of top quality calves, their pen of 46 steers, 667 lb raced to 190.50. The big boys 728 lb hit 186.00. Their beautiful pen of heifers weighing 651 lb traded to 164.50. The pen of 584 lb steers topped our trade at 214.00. And the pen of  Char X h/c  raced to 173.50,  their 533 h/c saw 192.00.
Jason Martin from McBride had a load of 730 lb char X steers today trade to 191.50. 26 head of their 652 lb steers today saw 198.50. Their 560 lb s/c raced to 225.00, their pen of 727 lb Char heifers today saw 160.50. The High Bar Ranch today from Clinton saw their 568 lb s/c race to 207.00.  Ed & Donna Salle of Barriere saw their 647 lb Red steers hit 197.50, their 548 lb s/c rolled to 230.00.
Dan & Jeanette Speller’s 812 lb replacement heifers sold to 165.00, the 728 lb replacement  heifers hit 181.00. Kent Wallace had top 759 lb Blk heifers sell to 165.00. Reg Schweb had 800 lb Red heifers sell to 164.00. Carl & Joanne Beltrametti’s 575 lb Blk s/c  hit 210.00. The Princeton Stock Ranch saw their powerful 795 lb Angus X steers top 170.00. Norman Breen’s 564 lb Angus s/c raced to 208.00. Thank you folks, that was one incredible sale day. Huge appreciation to all our buyers and contributors for one stellar sale of quality cattle.

RRTS CHAROLAIS BULL S ALE, MARCH 7^TH

We had a crowd today, Ranchers from throughout B.C. bidding hard to own the powerful Charolais bulls from Rob & Tina Stowards and family RRTS Charolais. Lot 67C RRTS  Cattlemans sold to the Squaw Valley Ranch at Lumby for 5500.00. The second high seller RRTS  Buck Up 65C sold to the Coldstream Ranch for 5200.00. The Gardner Ranch from Horsefly were back to purchase RRTS Vintage 59D from 4900.00. Bud & Kathy Gottfriedson selected RRTS Cowboy Poetry 75D from  4700.00. Volume buyers of these outstanding bulls were the Coldstream Ranch  and the Hartridge Ranch.
