KAMLOOP SALE OCTOBER 11, 2016

Again another powerful sale Tuesday as 1400 head of cattle hit the ring.  Calves made up the bulk of the sale receipts.  Tim Hall with some of the heaviest yearlings in the sale.  His 1100 lb. Angus steers hit 130.50.  Kurt & Joanne Holmes put the power to the calf trade with 664 lb. heavy h/c’s at 142.00.  Gord Ellis from Delta BC had 540 lb. Black Angus s/c top 173.00.  Ted Sikora and Karen Wilson with heavy 724 lb. Black & Red Angus h/c’s, they topped 140.50, their 620 lb. Red Baldie h/c’s notched 145.25.  Eunice Jaffrey’s 658 lb. Red h/c sold to 146.00,  her 613 lb. h/c reached 149.00.  Philip Ranch with Peter & Sharon seeing their load of 637 lb. Angus X s/c hit 166.75, their 703 lb. s/c sold to 164.50, and their 551 lb. s/c sold to 174.00, and the 624 lb. h/c rolled to 146.75.  Cheryl & Sid Newman’s 650 lb. Bbf s/c sold to 163.75, their 564 lb. s/c hit 172.75.  Jim Fox today saw his 614 lb. Angus cross s/c power to 170.00, their 450 lb. s/c raced to 189.50.  Their top pen of 550 lb. h/c’s saw 153.00.  The Bill Jackson calves set a pace with heavy 709 lb. Char cross s/c notching 165.50.  Their Angus cross 644 lb. s/c saw 164.00.  A pen of their 635 lb. h/c’s notched 149.00.  The Ogilvie Stock Ranch today showcased a top pen of Hereford calves, their big pen of 638 lb. Hereford s/c hit 161.25.  Bob & Dori Hampton from Clinton saw their 609 lb. Angus s/c power to 169.25, an excellent package of their 520 lb. Angus s/c saw 174.25.  Horse Camp Ranch today saw their heavy 720 lb. s/c race to 164.25, their big pen of 579 lb. s/c notched 169.25.  A top package of their 500 lb. s/c hit 181.50. 
McGillivray Land & Livestock powerful pen of 27 Black Angus s/c 654 lb. notched 166.00, their 579 lb. s/c set a pace at 173.25, their 534 lb. h/c’s hit 155.50.  Colin Mikkelsen saw their 556 lb. h/c’s top 149.50.  Don & Linda Lougheed with a liner load of top quality calves.  Their pen of 653 lb. Angus cross s/c raced to 167.25.  Their 600 lb. s/c reached 176.00.  20 head of their fancy 551 lb. Angus cross h/c’s raced to 154.00.  Ben & Lori Levi from Lumby had heavy 670 lb. Angus cross s/c top 167.00.  Eric Bergstrand saw his 610 lb. s/c sell to 169.00, the 563 lb. s/c traded to 174.50.  The 718 lb. Red cross s/c hit 163.50.  The Whitley Lake Ranch 554 lb. s/c topped the sale at 178.00 and their 501 lb. s/c topped the sale at 183.50.
