KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY, MARCH 13TH,  2012
Again another powerful sale in Kamloops Tuesday as 300 head of cattle hit the sale ring.  John & Joyce Holmes from J & J Cattle Co. saw their 1000 lb. young feeder cows trade to 77.00.  Their pen of 1226 lb. butcher cows rolled to 76.25.  Bill Schunter from Lumby had 2110 lb. butcher bulls top 85.50.  Feeder cattle saw Allan & Ginger Glen with 720 lb. steers at 145.50,  their 423 lb.  s/c traded to 196.00.   The Quesnel Ranch from Lumby had 401 lb. Black Angus s/c trade to 201.00.  Jim Thomson had 853 lb. steers trade to 138.00.  Gordon& Chris Hudson’s 738 lb. fancy replacement heifers traded to 138.75.  The Philip Ranch with a strong group of Red & Rbf steers all home ranch raised 825 lbs. traded to 140.25.  Their pen of 770 lb. steers walked to 148.75.  Geoff Sam’s 573 lb. b/c sold to 160.00, the 500 lb. h/c sold to 157.00.  Indian Gardens Ranch saw their part load of 700 lb. Red steers top 150.00
