Well this was one incredible sale today, it was huge with 1180 head on offer.  Today also featured the Steve Langenegger Bull Sale with top quality Red Angus bulls.  Ed & Angela Pawloff saw their 1548 lb. butcher cows mark 100.00.  Gary Andrews with heavy 1745 lb. cows from Lumby marking 105.00.  Lee Collins put the power to the yearling trade with 608 lb. heifers marking 214.00.  LACHoldings from Grand Forks had 527 lb. s/c mark 252.50.  Tom & Linda Hancock saw their 675 lb. s/c race to 228.50.  8 head of their 633 lb. s/c raced to 243.25.  9 head of their 580 lb. h/c’s notched 203.00.  19 head of their 677 lb. replacement h/c’s reached 191.00.  Len & Marvin Tonn from Kelowna saw their 80 head of feeders trade strong.  The big package of 523 lb. steers hit 241.00.  41 head of their 644 lb. steers raced to 226.50.  Steve and Yolanda Jontz of Six Mile Ranch had 478 lb. Black steers top 260.00, their 610 lb. steers reached 221.00.  Dirk Vandermeer’s 653 lb. Black steers reached 240.00, the 745 lb. steers brought 195.00.  Mel & Vicki Hough with heavy 910 lb. Black s/c rolled to 239.00, the 440 lb. s/c sold to 256.00.  Randy & Wendy Prebaschewski’s 545 lb. Black s/c sold to 237.00.  Jim Huwer from Lumby with a top load of steers, their pen of 723 lb. steers marked 220.00, the big boys 809 lb. set the mark at 190.50.  The Albers Creek Ranch from Lumby saw their 23 head of 642 lb. steers race to 231.00.  The Coldstream Ranch today showcased a load of 1200 lb. heiferettes, they traded to 130.75.  Rauch Ranch’s 594 lb. Black steers sold to 246.00.  Cactus Country’s 654 lb. Red x heifers sold to 178.75.  The Indian Gardens Ranch showcased 449 lb. grass h/c’s they raced to 214.00.  The top selling Red Angus bull for Steve Langenegger of Salmon Arm was PASSWORD 896C selling to Bob & Donna Leavitt of Heffley Creek for 5200.00.  Thank you to all our contributors and buyers for one top group of cattle.
