NORTHERN ALLIANCE BLACK & RED ANGUS BULL SALE

March 28th Northern Alliance Bull Sale offered 103 Black & Red bulls for sale.  This sale had lots of interest, as the barn was full of buyers.  To start the sale off Tanya & Lia daughters of Frank & Diane Strimbold welcomed all the buyers and announced the passing of Frank Strimbold and they opened the gate with Franks lot 584 Poplar Meadows. Tanya & Monty & Taylor Belsham lot #520  PM Thunderbird 14 rocked the barn selling for $10,000. to an Alberta buyer.   Belsham’s lot 552 PM Let it Ride 101 sold for 8500.00.  Red Moon Angus Jim & Shirley & Tom Moon sold a top quality string of Red Angus Bulls.  Jim’s lot 600 Red Moon Bad A Bing 11B sold for 7200.00 and Lot 601 Red Moon Money Train 24B traded for 6000.00.  Marley Angus Kim Beaudette sold good quality bulls.  Kim’s #578  Marberly Bluegrass 19B  sold for 6000.00 and Kim’s lot 575 Marberly Baeddan 16B sold for 5250.00. Blast Black Angus Lia & Brent & Shea & Lori Long sold an excellent set of Black bulls.  Brent & Lia’s Lot 505 Blast Sweet Thang 20B sold for 6000.00 and Lot 528 Blast Big Deal 25B sold for 6750.00. 

Overall average on 103 bulls was 5230.00.

Thanks to the Northern Alliance who put on a beautiful lunch and thanks to the buyers that came from all over BC & Alberta.  We are getting ready for next year, the last Saturday in March. 

April 11th is Al’s next Bull Sale, the All Breeds Bull Sale. 70 bulls listed.
