550 head of cattle rolled through the Vanderhoof stockyards. Ernie Bree cracked the gate open with 540 lb angus X s/c’s trade to 326.50 and 434 lb s/c’s at 357.00. Muir Stock Farms, Munroe & Cindy Muir sold fancy 772 lb angus X steers for 243.75 and 880 lb steers for 228.00. Their 804 lb top quality heifers sold for 226.00 and the 735 lb heifers at 236.75. DMS Ranch, Richard Martens sold 891 lb fancy blk steers for 226.00 and 682 lb steers for 268.75. Harold & Donna Gould sold good quality 538 lb s/c’s for 334.00 and 542 lb h/c’s 292.00. Gaylon McKee sold some 636 lb steers for 289.50 and 714 lb steers for 258.00. Larry Palmer of Burns Lake sold fancy 579 lb char X heifers for 291.00 and 524 lb h/c’s to 299.75.
