Purebred interest from Alberta along with widespread rancher interest from BC

kept sales alive and strong at the industry leading Horned Hereford Bull Sale for

Ray Van Steinberg of the Pine Butte Ranch on Saturday February 18th in Kamloops. 

The high selling 2 year old Horned Hereford Bull ARVS 104X sold to Mike Bayliff of

Alexis Creek for 6500.00.  2nd runner-up high seller was purchased by MN Herefords,

Clark Nixdorf of Airdrie, Alberta for 6300.00 for ARVS 59X.  Fred Bowers, a volume buyer

purchased the 3rd high seller 155X for 5100.00. 

The top quality Purebred Hereford Heifer calves were purchased by Lanni Bristow of

Heinsburg, Alberta for 2300.00.  Liam Franke of Douglas Lake BC for 2000.00 and

Jonomn Hereford Ranch of Clyde Alberta for 2000.00. 

Volume buyers of these top bulls today were the Douglas Lake Cattle Co., Frolek Cattle Co.,

Mike Bayliff, Eric Bergstrand, Coldstream Ranch, Fred Bowers, Gordon Puhallo and Harry &

Marilyn Clemitson.
