KAMLOOPS REGULAR & BRED COW & HEIFER SALE—TUESDAY NOV 25TH

Well again today numbers were huge start to finish with 1560 head of cattle on offer.  Butcher cows and bulls started this sale and then again rolled into calves and then Bred cows and Bred heifers.  Don Moses put the power to the butcher trade with 1510 lb. cows to 117.25.  Barry Teagle showcased the calf sale with 577 lb. Black Angus h/c’s at 250.00.  Dan & Janette Speller also with 583 lb. h/c’s at 251.00 and 517 lb. h/c’s at 269.50.  The Quesnel Ranch from Lumby had 788 lb. steers mark 238.00.  13C Ltd. of Princeton saw their 518 lb. Red neck s/c top 294.50 to 441 lb. s/c topped 330.50 and the 353 lb. s/c hit 354.00.  Spiyu7ullucw Ranch of Kamloops showcased 644 lb. Black s/c at 256.50, their outstanding 617 lb. Black h/c rolled to 257.25 the 553 lb. h/c hit 264.00.   Mitchell Cattle Co. with 683 lb. Sim X s/c notching 251.00.   The Nicola Ranch today with a top pen of 23 s/c 516 lb. Black & Bwf they raced to 297.00.  Rod Jules saw his top quality 615 lb. fancy Hereford h/c’s mark 226.00.  Doug& Lois Miller saw their heavy 688 lb. Char s/c trade to 249.00 and their 582 lb. Char h/c’s also hit 249.00.  The Frolek Cattle Co.’s load of 846 lb. spayed heifers raced to 220.50. 

Well today the Bred Cow and Bred Heifer Sale opened very strong.  The Mullin Ranch started this top notch sale with their bred heifers.  Jim & Pat Mullin’s powerful Black Angus bred heifers hit 2775.00, the Black baldy bred heifers sold to 2750.00.  Wayne Fipke of Buck Lake Ranch Dispersed an incredible Angus cow herd.  The 1st calvers hit 2775.00 with the 2nd and 3rd calvers trading to 2750.00, 5th calvers brought 2700.00 and mature cows selling up to 2450.00.  Fred and Maureen Ziemer’s good Hereford cows sold to 2250.00.  Sierra Simmentals powerful 3 year olds for calving mid Feb. traded to a sale top of 2825.00 all Simmental cross. Leo Lamotte from Falkland drew huge attention with their 2nd calving Black Angus Bred Heifer topping 2600.00 per head.
