Another huge sale in Kamloops today as another 800 head of cattle were sold.   The Salle Ranch butcher bulls put the power to our trade with their 1570 lb. bulls at 147.00.  Feeder cattle today continued strong.  Steve & Linda Shannon saw their 875 lb. heifers mark 207.50.  Jason & Susan McGillivray saw their 944 lb. open heifers mark 191.25, their big sisters 1074 lb. raced to 172.00.  Vicki Scott had 451 lb. h/c’s mark 240.00.  Bonnie Taylor’s 805 lb. Black Angus heifers marked to 215.00.  The Frolek Cattle. Co. today set a pace as a pen of 45 steers 838 lbs. powered to 232.45.  A pen of 18 steers 728 lbs. raced to 243.50.  Si-Ban Holdings 804 lb. steers notched 235.50.  R & J Walls Ranch saw their 583 lb. s/c hit 256.00.  Thomson Brothers of Kelowna had a powerful group of 541 lb. Black s/c hit 264.00, the 460 lb. h/c rolled to 237.00.  Dan & Marilyn Moss had 539 lb. s/c sell to 265.00, the 441 lb. s/c topped 287.00.  Dennis & Fiona Ryan saw their fancy Black s/c hit 249.50, the 487 lb. s/c brought 277.00.  Keith & Cheryl Altwasser from Lumby had 450 lb. s/c at 272.00, their 592 lb. Charolais h/c’s saw 227.00, their butcher cows 1443 lb. topped 120.50.  The Bob Marshall Ranch calves from Salmon Arm were powerful, their 519 lb. Limo cross s/c powered to 261.00, their 433 lb. s/c marked 285.50, their 505 lb. h/c’s notched 253.50.  Robert Pooli from Valemont had 693 lb. Red Angus s/c race to 233.00.   Ken Ayre from Siravo Holdings from Langley saw his 1990 lb. cows race to 118.25.  Peter & Anita Driessen saw their top 445 lb. Red Angus s/c marched to 266.00 with 540 lb. s/c at 254.00.  Robert Bach & G Cowan saw their 1590 lb. cows top 119.25.  Their 583 lb. s/c notched 258.50.  Merv Smith’s 515 lb. Red Angus h/c hit 257.00.  D Bar E Ranch’s 670 lb. Black s/c brought 240.00.  Kuiper Ranch’s 724 lb. Black steers hit 243.50, the 738 lb. steers brought 246.00, their 718 lb. spay heifers reached 212.00.
