VANDERHOOF SALE - FRIDAY FEBRUARY 14 2014

1241 Head of Cattle sold at BCL Vanderhoof yards today. Murray & Cheryl Richards blew the doors off the place with 140 head of steers & hfrs, their 689 lb Angus X steers notched 185.00, with their 585 lb steers marking 195.00, their 607 lb hfrs hitting 166.00 and the 561 lb hfrs reaching 175.50. Muir Stock Farms, Munro & Cindy Muir sold 107 hd of steers weighing 746 lbs and trading to 175.50, the 869 lb steers hit 159.25, and the 814 lb heifers hit 145.00. Their 887 lb heifers sold for 137.00. Darrell & Rosanne Ophus of Mountain View Ranch sold 661 lb Angus X steers for 184.50, and their 563 lb blk steers for 200.50. Joyce & Gordy Dickson had some fancy Angus X heifers at 628 lbs sell for 169.75, their 715 lb hfrs marked 147.00. Gaylon Mckee sold his top quality 657 lb steers at 187.00, his 492 lb steers topped 209.00 and the 555 lb h/c reached 169.25. Ron & Lois Crosbey sold 1700 lb cows for 89.50. The CTN Ranch’s 1893 lb blk butcher bulls sold for 105.25, their 1673 lb bulls sold for 97.00. Kochel Land & Cattle Co. sold their red bull weighing 2060 lbs for 99.50 and their 1215 lb cows traded to 87.00, with their 876 lb hfrs reaching 127.00.
