KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY NOV. 12TH

Well the numbers just keep rolling into Kamloops as again we enjoyed another huge volume sale of 1400 head.  Butcher cows and bulls were lower throughout the sale.  Ed & Michelle Gardner from the Copper Creek Ranch set the steam to our yearling heifer trade with 993 lb. spay heifers topping 112.50.  The Lute Creek Ranch with heavy calves today from Clearwater 828 lb. Black & Black Baldies they hit 133.25, their 658 lb. s/c notched 147.50.  Eric Bergstrand of Sun Hill Ranch had 728 lb. Hereford s/c hit 140.75, the 623 lb. s/c rolled to 144.50.  X3 Ranch had a beautiful load of 600 lb. Angus s/c which traded to 149.75, the 522 lb. s/c reached 157.00.  Leroy and Bernadine Peters tremendous load of 711 lb. Black s/c hit 145.00.  Their 640 lb. Black s/c hit 154.00, their 626 lb. h/c hit 136.00.  Alex Fraser with heavy 808 lb. Black Angus s/c they notched 135.75, their 737 lb. s/c marked 143.75.  Aldergrove Limousins saw their fancy 567 lb. Black Limousin s/c top 156.75.  Fred Philp’s with heavy 806 lb. Red Angus cross s/c they powered to 136.25. Ian & Brenda Jones 700 lb. s/c marked 142.00 with 630 lb. Angus cross s/c topping 152.00.  Willow Ranch the Huston family showcased some powerful calves today.  The first load 596 lb. Black Angus s/c fancy and good topped 154.25.  The Gardens Creek Ranch 653 lb. s/c raced to 148.00 with 600 lb. s/c at 150.75.  Bernie & Robin Graffunders heavy 778 lb. s/c powered to 137.25.  The Forest Walkem Estate calves filled the ring.  A top pen of 649 lb. Black & Bwf s/c  notched 146.50.  Charles Walkem showcased some of the best calves in the sale.  His 676 lb. Black & Bwf s/c raced to 144.00.  His 639 lb. h/c marked 132.25.  The Coquihalla Cattle Co. with a heavy set of 674 lb. Red Angus cross calves they traded to 145.25.  Fennel Ranch’s 556 lb. Angus s/c hit 150.25.
