VANDERHOOF PRE SORT SALE - FRIDAY NOV. 1ST

2500 head of cattle rolled through the Vanderhoof yards.   Gary & Julie Blackwell from Burns Lake had fancy top quality Black s/c at 658 lb. sell for 147.25 and Gary’s 641 lb. Angus h/c at 131.50.  Canyon Creek Farms from Smithers saw their 697 lb. s/c trade to 139.25 and 615 lb. s/c sold for 147.25.  Colleen Helps sold 598 lb. s/c for 149.00.  410 lb. h/c Angus X sold for 147.00.  Tom & DougShelford sold fancy Char X 633 lb. s/c for 143.75 and 556 lb. h/c at 135.25.  Seven Up Ranch from Burns Lake sold a pen of 560 lb. Char X s/c for 147.25, their 484 lb. s/c at 157.00.  Craig Steiner of Fort Fraser had some fancy 581 lb. h/c trade to 135.00 and Craig’s 645 lb. s/c sold for 145.25.  Taber View Ranch sold 570 lb. Black s/c at 157.00 and 489  lb. s/c at 158.75.  Kevin Bailey sold 695 lb. Angus X s/c for 142.25, Kevin’s 554 lb. s/c at 155.00.  Don & Maxine Baker started off with good quality yearlings.  Don’s big 976 lb. Limo steers sold to 132.00 and Don’s 837 lb. heifers traded to 129.25.  Rod Bianco 878 lb. Black, Bwf steers sold to 136.00.  Butcher cows 50.00-67.00  Butcher bulls 60.00-72.00.
