KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY SEPT. 3rd

Another excellent sale today in Kamloops as just under 400 head of cattle were sold. Butcher cows and bulls opened lower on pretty well all classes.  Jim Collins put the power to our feeder trade as he saw his 886 lb. steers march to 138.25, their 803 lb. steers notched 145.00.  Allan Dunn from McLure saw their 747 lb. heifers trade to 135.00 with 915 lb. steers topping 138.00.  Roger Zinck from Scotch Creek had 1588 lb. cows to 73.75 and 2455 lb. cows to 84.25.  A pen of their 383 lb. s/c marked to 169.00.  From Kelowna the LH Ranch 970 lb. steers fired to 134.25.  Mark Fincham from the Frog Hollow Ranch at Pritchard had his 882 lb. heifers notch 125.00.  The pen of heifers that weighed 819 lb. reached 135.00.  A few calves this week.  Ruth Norris with 498 lb. Char s/c trading to 147.00.  Bob & Bev Steeple filled the ring with a beautiful pen of Black Angus heifers 812 lb. they traded to 132.25, the 863 lb. heifers brought 131.75.  Ed and Michelle Gardner of Copper Creek Ranch had a load of 939 lb. Angus heifers top 126.00, the 841 lb. heifers brought 135.25.
