860 head of cattle sold through Vanderhoof yards on Friday April 26th  Garrett Ranches cracked the gate open on the sale with their 649 lb. Black & Bwf heifers that sold for 128.25.  Kochel Cattle & Timber 586 lb. Angus X heifers for 130.25 along with 674 lb. steers at 137.50 & 505 lb. steers at 148.00 even.    Knapper Creek Ranch/Carl Szydlik from Houston sold some good quality 706 lb. heifers for 116.75 and Carl’s 769 lb. Angus steers at 129.00 even.  Woodpecker Ranch sale & Dorren Boon  from Vanderhoof sold 14 steers 626 lb. Angus X for 146.75 along with their 585 lb. Angus heifers at 135.75.  John Bailey sold some top quality heifers Angus 919 lb. at 105.00 even and John’s 928 lb. Angus X steers at 114.25.  Kevin Bailey sold 873 lb. Angus X heifers for 117.00.  Walter Cool  real good Red steers at 597 lb. trade for 143.50 & Walts 512 lb. heifers at 1128.00.  Gerald & Tracy Turcotte from Prince George sold top quality 723 lb. Angus heifers for 115.00.  Wikkstra Farms Ltd. of Telkwa sold their 714 lb.  Simm Angus X steers for 137.00 and bulls 878 Simm Angus X at 115.75.  Butcher bulls were full to steady.  Gaylon McKee 2095 lb. Angus bull sold for 91.75.  Hatch Creek Ranch 2215 lb. Char Bulls sold for 90.25.  Ian & Cathy Hickman sold 1603 lb. Angus cows for 74.00 even.  Jeff Stubbs 1245 lb. cows traded to 72.00.  Merl Hoesing from Burns Lake 1330 lb. cow sold for 76.25.
