WILLIAMS LAKE SALE  APRIL 25th

One of the largest Spring cattle sales we have seen in Williams Lake for a long time with 1280 head of cattle on offer.  The Moffat Ranch saw their 1360 lb butcher cows trade to 77.00, their 1970 lb butcher cows hit 96.75.  The HarrisRanch 1280 lb butcher cows topped 77.50 with 2090 lb bulls to 95.25.  Canyon Enterprise’s 1765 lb top Hereford butcher cows topped 78.25.  John & Laura Wilson with 1518 lb butcher cows notching 77.00.  Barry Blodgett put a fire under our feeder trade with a fancy pen of roping calves 343 lb h/c’s trading to 163.00 and 482 lb Longhorn s/c racing to 129.00 and 407 lb roping steers powering to 171.00.  The Pablo Mtn Ranch 715 lb CharX heifers hit 124.00.  CactusCountry Farm’s 860 lb replacement heifers sold to 110.00, the 772 lb heifers rolled to 116.50.  Hartridge Ranch’s 628 lb steers sold to 137.00.  Stirrup Ranch’s fancy 702 lb Blk steers hit 137.25, the 638 lb heifers brought 127.25.  Springfield Ranch’s 590 lb Blk Baldy heifers hit 134.50.  W & C Thompson from Quesnel saw their 711 lb steers race to 136.25.  Henry & Mary Engelbert saw their top quality 729 lb steers power to 134.00.  Richard & Bonny Morley saw their top quality 817 lb replacement heifers trade to 115.50.  Bill Makinson from 100 Mile House with a top load of 748 lb Blk BWF steers reached 133.50.  The Douglas Lake Cattle Co, Alkali Lake Ranch Division with 300 powerful yearlings.  29 head of their strong 807 lb Hereford steers net 125.00, a fancy package of their 723 lb Hereford steers traded to 137.25, 56 head of their 719 lb Blk BWF steers notched 141.25.  Alkali Lake’s 623 lb Blk heifers hit 132.25.  DaveWooten’s 743 lb Angus steers sold to 132.00.  Rafter T Ranch Dave Taylor had 659 lb Blk Angus s/c race to 144.00.  JerryEntzminger had a liner load of top steers, their 679 lb steers hit 143.25 and 617 lb steers reached 139.50.

 

Next sale here in Williams Lake is their huge EQUIPMENT AUCTION Saturday May 4th.  Cow/Calf pairs at 10:00 AM and Equipment at 10:30 AM.  This will be a good one—come early and stay all day !!
