KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY APRIL 23rd

Again the numbers keep rollin in as we again enjoyed just under 600 head of cattle.   Tom & Linda Hancock put the fire to our feeder trade with 869 lb. Red & Black Angus s/c powering to 117.75.  Their 743 lb. steers notched 131.00, their 833 lb. steers met 119.50, their 690 lb. steers met 141.00, their 473 lb. s/c hit 163.00, their 1825 lb. butcher bulls hit 89.50.  Fred Bowers today saw his 733 lb. Hereford steers top 130.00,  his 644 lb. Red Baldie steers met 136.75.  The Forest Walkem Estate had 1240 lb. cows to 78.25.  Red Allison saw his 749 lb. Black & Red Angus steers trade to 132.25.  Terry Schalles/Cactus Country Farm saw his 579 lb. Black & Bwf h/c’s reach 130.75.  16 head of their 587 lb. steers met 141.00.  28 head of their 635 lb. steers raced to 141.75.  The High Bar Ranch with a top set of calves, their 493 lb. Black Angus h/c’s hit 135.00, their 634 lb. heifers hit 126.00.  Bernie and Robin Graffunder saw their 719 lb. Simm X heifers hit 113.50.  Ken Campbell had 950 lb. Black & Bwf steers from Cache Creek trade to 111.00.  TelfordFarms 678 lb. Red Angus replacement heifers walked to 120.25.  Tony Tindall cow herd dispersal sale saw his young Black Angus cows with calves at foot top 1910.00 each per pair.  The Ed Ripley Hereford Cow Herd Dispersal saw his top Hereford cow/calf pairs to 1510.00.  Gerd & Pat Dessau topped our cow trade with 1485 lb. cows at 82.00 or 1217.70, their 733 lb. Red baldie heifers met 113.50, their 600 lb. heifers marched to 127.25 and 700 lb. steers 135.00.  Allan Rauch from Merritt had 590 lb. Black Angus s/c mark 139.00 and 729 lb. fancy heifers to 114.00.  The BenedictRanch showed a top pen of 652 lb. Black Angus heifers trade to 122.50, with 559 lb. h/c’s to 131.25.  Ian & BrendaJones 550 lb. s/c at 152.00.
