WILLIAMS LAKE  BULL SHOW & SALE  APRIL 18 & 19TH

A huge attendance at the Williams Lake Bull Show was a sign of again a huge crowd at Bull Sale Time on Friday.  Rancher interest was strong and buyers from Alberta & Saskatchewan and Manitoba were looking to BC to add Bull power to their own herds.  Todd Marchant and Pam McGuiness set a pace with the Black Angus bulls as their entry Lot 45 sold to the Cedar Creek Ranch for 6700.00, with Lot 46 selling to Meadow Brook Ranch for 5900.00.  Dan &Janette Speller showcased Black Angus bulls with their Lot 81 selling to Peter & Sharon Philip for 5750.00.  The Hereford Industry saw Little Fort Herefords set a record for the day with their entry Lot 112 selling to Wayne Magnuson of Shanavin Saskatchewan for 7500.00.  Sunnybrae Farms/Neil & Ian Turner saw their entry Lot 134 sell to the Springfield Ranch for 4100.00.  Bridge Lake Charolais/Jack Blacks entry of Lot 4 sold to Rob & Lorne Herrick for 3250.00.  Barry & Robin Mader from Pritchard saw their Gelbvieh entry Lot 2 sell for 3300.00 to Six Pack Ranch of Quesnel.  Pinnacle View Limousin had the high selling Limousin bull Lot 9 selling to Art Rogers of Triple P Limousin from MacGregor Manitoba.  The high selling Simmental went to 3M Simmentals/Monte & Darlene Furber with Lot 20 selling to T D Ilnicki for 2400.00.
