WILLIAMS LAKE SALE—THURSDAY  APRIL 4th

Well today was wall to wall cattle in Williams Lake as 900 head of cattle were showcased with well over 800 powerful feeder steers and heifers.   The Gang Ranch tested our butcher bull trade with 1830 lb. bulls topping 91.75.  Tony & Mike Bayliff saw their 2308 lb. Hereford bulls top our trade 94.25, their 1415 lb. butcher cows powered to 74.75.  Paula Maisonville from Likely had 2345 lb. Angus bulls reach 95.25, their 1707 lb. Angus cows topped at 75.75.  Some powerful feeder cattle replacement heifers and grass cattle were featured today.  Stirrup Ranch’s reputation 731 lb. replacement heifers hit 139.00, their 680 lb. Black heifers reached 149.50.  Dave Taylor of Rafter T Ranch saw his 706 lb. Black Angus steers sell to 135.75, his 648 lb. steers hit 145.75, and the 730 lb. Black replacement heifers topped 144.00.  Doug Webster had 802 lb. Red steers hit 122.00.  Marguarete Ranch’s 667 lb. Black steers sold to 141.50 the 731 lb. steers rolled to 136.00.  Mike Bailey’s 523 lb. Black h/c hit 133.00.  J & J Cattle Co. came to town with 476 lb. Black s/c selling to 159.75, the 388 lb. s/c brought 167.00, the 538 lb. s/c reached 1551.25.  John and Joyce Holmes 404 lb. Angus h/c hit 154.00.  Dale and Yvonne Dunn saw their 884 lb. Black baldy heifers hit 117.50.  Allan & Elsie Brigden’s 749 lb. Hereford steers reached 125.75.  The Gang Ranch today presented 2 liner loads of top quality Angus calves.  43 head of their 592 lb. Black Angus s/c raced to 155.00.  25 head of their 474 lb. s/c topped their weight range at 162.75.  The heavy pen of 746 lb. s/c saw 132.25.  Gary & Amy Ellis saw their fancy 522 lb. Angus h/c’s trade to 135.50.  Stew & Jen Roberts had a tremendous load of 776 lb. Char steers top 129.25, their 639 lb. steers hit 147.50, their 700 lb. Tan heifers brought 120.25.  Riske Creek Ranching came to town with their 601 lb. heifers selling to 144.50.  Randy Saugstad’s 444 lb. s/c hit 159.00.  Walt & Carol Foster’s 515 lb. Red baldy s/c hit 162.50, the 426 lb. s/c sold to 169.00.  Mike Moore’s 443 lb. h/c traded to 149.50.
