KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY MARCH 12TH 

Kamloops Sale Tuesday had the stage set for one incredible sale as a good supply of feeder cattle were combined with one 1st class Bull Sale of Charolais breeding bulls for RRTS Charolais of Armstrong BC./ Rob & Tina Stowards.  Wayne & Jacki Vansickle put the fire to our butcher trade with 1335 lb. butcher cows from Louis Creek trading to 72.00.  Jim Brown from Lytton had 1505 lb. cows to 72.50 and butcher bulls to 80.00.  Don Summers from Barriere with heavy top steers.  His 965 lb. steers traded to 115.50, the big boys 1065 lb. traded to 104.00, their 831 lb. heifers topped 109.50.  Fennel Ranch set a pace today with their 629 lb. s/c racing to 145.25.  A beautiful pen of their 536 lb. Black & Bwf s/c trading to 164.00.  21 head of their 511 lb. s/c matched 160.00.  Jim Brown from Lytton had 730 lb. heifers top 124.00.  Quinn Gavaga had 549 lb. h/c’s trade to 145.50.  Doug Lansdall had 1610 lb. cows to 72.25. 

The Valley Charolais Bull Sale / Rob & Tina Stowards and family was a huge success.  Quality was 1st class and buyers from throughout BC were represented.  The Squaw Valley Ranch selected the high selling bull RRTS SILVER HAWK 279Z for 4750.00.  Isac Martin from McBride selected RRTS ROUND EM UP  262Z for 4000.00.  Volume buyers were Jane Stelkia, Coldstream Ranch, Stirling Creek Ranch, Len & Marvin Tonn, Bud Gotfriedson.  The Entry of Lot 55 Keith & Cheryl Altwasser entry ALT NOBELMAN 55Z sold to Shelford Farms for 3400.00.
