380 head of cattle sold in Vanderhoof on Friday March 8th.  Bar K Ranch from Prince George sold 1820 lb. Red Angus Bulls for 88.75.  RoyKells 2120 lb. Charolais Bulls sold for 84.25.  Holly Ridge Farms from Smithers 1570 lb. cows at 74.00.  Gaylor McKee 1755 lb. Char X cows traded to 79.75 along with his 1553 lb. Angus types sold for 79.25.  Kochel Cattle & Timber 16 butcher cows sold for 74.50.  JasonBeier’s 1392 lb. Angus cows sold for 77.00 even.  KC Ranch of Fort Fraser 1648 lb. butcher cows sold for 76.00 even.  Roberta Black 1478 lb. Angus X cows sold for 67.75 and her Bred cows traded from 1070.00 to 1500.00.   Ernie Bree from Telkwa had some fancy 568 lb. s/c sold for 155.00, his 483 lb. s/c at 158.00, his 516 lb. h/c traded to 139.00 along with his 461  lb. h/c at 146.75.   Cary and Shirley Chenard from Fort St. James sent some fancy Char X calves.  Their 685 lb. Char X s/c sold for 136.25 along with their 688 lb. h/c sold for 130.00.  A good even bunch of cattle.  Murray Richards 475 lb. h/c sold for 149.00 and his 478 lb. Angus X s/c topped at 159.00.  Erin &James Ulmer of Burns Lake sold 469 lb. Angus s/c for 161.00 and their 510 lb. Angus h/c for 141.50.
