2100 head of cattle sold on Friday mainly calves. Hart Lake Ranch/Mel Gulbranson from Vanderhoof fancy 459 lb. s/c sold for 164.00 and Mel’s 408 lb. h/c sold for 146.50. E & F Farms Vanderhoof sent in close to 200 fancy calves. Fred’s 573 lb. Angus X s/c traded for 148.75 and his 706 lb. s/c at 134.00 even. George Amendt from Burns Lake sold 571 lb. s/c for 147.75 and 540 lb. h/c at 136.00 even. Rochel Cattle & Timber sold 90 Angus X s/c at 513 lb. sold for 158.25 & 558 lb. s/c at 155.00 even, 457 lb. h/c traded for 150.00. 396 lb. h/c at 153.50. Kellogg Creek Ranch / Ian Hickman from Prince George had some fancy calves. 644 lb. Angus X s/c sold for 136.25. 591 lb. fancy h/c at 132.50. Andres Grunthal of Prince George had some big powerful 690 lb. s/c sell for 134.75 and 644 lb. s/c at 135.50. Kevin Bailey from Vanderhoof had some 634 lb. Angus s/c sell for 136.75 and his 556 lb. h/c traded to 146.80. Gary & Julie Blackwell from Ootsa Lake sold good quality 721 lb. Angus X s/c for 134.75 along with their 660 lb. h/c sold for 126.25. Ron Fawcett /Summitt Lake Ranch had a nice group of 596 lb. traded to 145.00 and Ron’s 537 lb. h/c traded to 142.00. Gaylon McKee had a powerful sale on his calves. Gaylon’s 632 lb. s/c reached to 136.25. 547 lb. Angus s/c at 150.25. Fancy package of Red h/c at 524 lb. sold to 153.00 even. David Wruth from Vanderhoof sold 494 lb. from Vanderhoof sold 494 lb. Angus s/c for 150.00. 494 lb. Angus h/c at 148.00. Thanks to the contributors for top quality calves. Next week 1000 calves booked in for Nov. 9th sale, 250 yearlings from 800-1000 lbs. are consigned.
