Douglas Lake Cattle Co. opened the sale with a tremendous group of 2227 lb Charolais Butcher bulls reaching 227.25, their liner load of 2130 lb Horned Hereford Butcher bulls reached 215.25. Fred Bowers hit the ring with his 808 lb Red Angus x strs selling to 380.00, his 665 lb strs topped 440.00 while the 708 lb hfrs reached 365.00 and the 592 lb hfrs sold to 440.00. C1 Ranch came to town with 509 lb fancy Blk strs that traded to 501.00 and their 449 lb h/c reached 471.00. Ken MacDougalls 770 lb Red hfrs sold to 351.00 BC Cattle Co. had 406 lb Red s/c that topped 550.00. Teresa Chaguns 564 lb s/c brought 495.00. Andy & Leila Jacobson saw their 473 lb s/c hit 512.50. Jamie & Maureen Janzen had 455 lb s/c that sold to 530.00 and their 645 lb s/c reached 394.00. Red Rock Farm of Westwold had 433 lb s/c sell to 537.50 and the 500 lb h/c brought 451.00. Gary Andrews of Lumby had 678 lb h/c sell to 416.00 and their 460 lb hfrs sold to 471.00. Fred Philips 490 lb h/c sold to 478.00. Schweb Family Cattle’s 554 lb s/c topped 531.00, their 588 lb s/c reached 495.00 and 514 lb h/c brought 466.00. Butcher cows and bulls traded strong with solid volume on offer C1 Ranches liner load of 1347 lb cows hit 184.00 Squaw Valley Ranch had 1723 lb cows that brought 182.00 and their 1855 lb bull traded to 221.25. Hat Creek Ranch saw their 1845 lb bull sell to 223.00. Dan Summers 2400 lb Limo bull hit 215.00. Frolek Cattle Co’s load of cows hit 182.50. Indian Gardens Ranch 1453 lb cows saw 179.00.
