Another excellent sale here in Kamloops as we showcased another 1400 hd. Calves made up most of the receipts, but we also had over 300 Butcher cows. Shane Muir put the power to this top sale, Blk Angus x s/c just under 700 lb saw 384.50, their pen of 620 lb s/c raced to 393.75 and then 543 lb s/c notching 420.00. The Bar FX Ranch came to town with powerful Angus/Simm x s/c that weighed 719 lb notching 365.00, the big pen of 26 hd were top s/c weighing 600 lb saw a top of 399.00 and 17 hd of their Simm x h/c 591 lb hit 362.25. Quinton & Sheena Schneider’s 668 lb Angus s/c hit 390.00, their 576 lb Blk s/c sold to 415.50 and the beautiful group of 546 lb h/c traded to 373.00. Eric Bergstrand’s 720 lb Angus x s/c brought 357.00. Kevin Day saw his 641 lb Blk s/c sell to 386.00, his 605 Blk h/c reached 344.00 and the 705 lb h/c sold to 330.00. Pooley Ranch had a load of 564 lb big solid Simm x s/c top 393.00, the 471 lb Blk s/c hit 478.00 and the 576 lb h/c brought 365.00 and a double draft of 504 lb h/c topped 390.00. The Estate of George Little had 760 lb Gelv x s/c that notched 357.25, the 676 lb s/c sold to 375.50 and the h/c filled the ring and hit 348.00 with an average of 616 lb. The Seven O Ranch had incredible calves, their 565 lb s/c raced to 414.00, their 463 lb s/c notched 470.00. Gary Stone from Lumby had some heavy 735 lb Angus s/c sell to 353.00 and 628 lb s/c traded to 390.00. Paul LeBlanc from Chase had 559 lb Blk Angus h/c top 363.00. Seven O Ranch’s 1029 young feeder cows sold to 222.00, their Butcher cows weighed 1312 lb brought 169.00 and the high yielding Butcher cows 1521 lb topped in at 180.50.
