The Valley Ranch came to town with some heavy calves, 840 lb s/c topping the sale at 330.00, their 688 lb Blk Angus h/c notched 333.00 and their 600 lb s/c marked 380.00. The Bernese Meadow Ranch filled the ring with 32 s/c 600 lb that set the record for the day at 400.00. A top set of Blk Angus strs from Cwyn Mawr Ranch weighed 844 lb and topped 339.25, the 957 lb strs sell to 319.50 and a ring full of 749 lb strs rolled to 350.00. Jim Knight was in with some of the heaviest strs for the day at 1178 lb that hit 272.00 or 3204.00 per hd, his 1068 lb strs bring 295.75. Terry Inskip brought some heavy 1028 lb Hereford hfrs that sold to 272.00. The Iron Mountain Ranch had a great load of 769 lb yearlings that rolled to 350.00 and their 927 lb strs raced to 315.00. The Open Heart Ranch (Ed & Tracy Everett) filled the ring with 955 lb strs that marked 315.75 and the big package of 844 lb Angus x strs hit 330.00. Brian & Jackie Ciancone had 652 lb fancy Blk s/c sell to 356.00 and the 517 lb Blk h/c reached 362.00. Terry Davis of Valemount saw his 392 s/c sell to 460.00 and the 433 lb h/c rolled to 385.00. Jason & Janna Quesnel saw their top 629 lb s/c roll to 370.00, the 563 lb s/c reach 404.00, their 492 lb s/c hit 420.00 and the fancy group of 567 lb h/c raced to 351.00. Fennel Ranch had 488 lb Blk Angus s/c that sold to 415.00. Steven MacDougall of Barriere saw his 625 lb red s/c hit 365.00, the 537 lb s/c sold to 410.00, then the ring was filled with 643 lb h/c selling to 341.00 and the 574 lb h/c topped 361.00. John & Hilary McNolty had 833 lb Simm s/c hit 330.00 and the 733 lb s/c topped 350.00. Stephen Jontz of Six Mile Ranch had 603 lb s/c bring 382.00 and the 515 lb s/c rolled to 407.50. Tappen Vale Farms of Pritchard had 610 lb s/c top 375.00, their 550 lb s/c sold to 398.00 and their beautiful 602 lb Simm x h/c reached 340.00. Tim Hall saw his 1116 lb big Red strs sell to 255.00. Ed Merton’s 780 lb Angus strs sold to 350.00. John & Hillary McNolty also had 2185 lb bull top 219.00. Helen Davis from Valemount had good heavy Butcher cows that trade to 185.00. Zev Chochinov had 1900 lb bull reach 212.00. Brian Yamelst had 1395 lb cows top 187.00. Andrew Cox had 1670 lb Butcher bulls bring 214.00. It was one very steady sale. Every buyer chair was filled. Next week another 500-600 expected with lots of calves.
