923 head of cattle were sold through the ring on Friday in Vanderhoof. Feeder cattle included about 400 head of calves and 400 yearlings. Olin Albertson treated us to some Blk s/c at 456 lbs that sold for 426.00 and 406 lb h/c that saw 376.00. Ron and Lois Crosby had Simm h/c that pressed the scales down at 606 lbs and returned 338.00, a sort of h/c at 532 lbs were 347.00 and 1430 lb Simm cows brought 186.00. Emily Fast sold Angus x strs at 947 lbs for 312.00 and the strs at 849 lbs were 340.00. Garrett Ranches Ltd. featured Angus x strs at 982 lbs for 310.50 and open hfrs at 916 lbs were 297.00. Brian Hall had Simm x s/c at 497 lbs reach 417.00, 385 lb s/c hit 482.50 and the 340 lb s/c hit 500.00, the h/c at 462 lbs were 350.00 and the 370 lb h/c saw 410.00. Lee Hartman sold Blk s/c at 562 lbs for 390.00 and h/c that weighed 574 were 343.50. Hatch Creek Ranch had powerful s/c at 555 lbs command 400.00, 493 lb s/c were 422.50 and a sort of Tan h/c caught 345.00, some 1385 lb slaughter cows brought 183.00. Kim Holland had 628 lb s/c sell for 358.00 and h/c at 544 lbs were 338.00. Glenn and Liza Hooker sold Red Angus h/c at 506 lbs for 361.00 and h/c at 375 lbs made it to 393.00. Ken Isaac had beautiful Simm x s/c at 544 lbs power through to 405.50 and 480 lb s/c that hit 432.00, the h/c at 531 lbs were 354.00 and 484 lb h/c were all the way up to 369.00. Gerry and Rene Jones sold Red s/c at 512 lbs for 398.00 and 435 lb s/c were 420.00, the h/c at 508 lbs saw 354.00 and some h/c at 484 lbs forced 366.00, while some 1410 lb cows hit 184.50. Andy Meints sold 512 lb s/c for 411.00 and the 429 lb s/c were 430.00, on the h/c side, the 531 lb beauties  were 332.00 and the 427 lb h/c were 362.50. Muir Stock Farm had 992 lb strs bring 300.00. Ootsa Lake Cattle Co. had Char x yearlings, the strs at 1030 lbs brought 285.50 and 915 lb strs were 315.00, hfrs at 853 lbs rose to 305.00 and 672 lb hfrs hit 315.00. Gordon Penner had some of the biggest calves today, the Tan s/c at 648 lbs brought 359.50 and the h/c that weighed 654 lbs smashed through to 338.00. Gerald Turcotte had x bred strs at 844 lbs bring 339.50. Jamie and Denise Wiens and sold Simm x s/c at 530 lbs for 400.00 and some h/c at 415 lbs were 381.00. Richard Wruth featured Angus x strs at 988 lbs for 304.00 and 851 lb strs were 342.75. Liz Legebokoff sold 500 lb s/c for 405.00 and small s/c at 405 lbs were 443.00 and the 358 lb h/c were 437.50. Vandenberg Dairy presented Simm x s/c at 586 lbs that climbed to 390.00 and some h/c at 558 lbs for 342.00. Lyle and Vonda Wiens had an 1885 lb Simm bull hit 211.00 and another Simm bull at 1825 lbs for 207.00. KMS Cattle sold a Simm bull at 1850 lbs for 206.00.
