Douglas Lake Cattle Co. put the power to our Butcher cow and bull trade, the Gang Ranch Division had 957 lb 3 year olds today set in at 121.00, the young 1118 lb feeder hfrts raced to 124.00. Next, 15 hd of their 971 lb hfrs raced to 154.00, their 2035 lb Butcher bulls hit 138.00 and the 1890 lb bulls sold to 142.00. The BC Cattle Co. hit the sale ring today with 200 top quality calves. 40 hd of their 443 lb s/c topped the sale at 354.00 and their heavy 540 lb s/c hit 320.00.  Steven Tostenson’s 540 lb Blk Angus hfrs brought 266.00. John Koerson had 754 lb Angus x hfrs that reached 231.00. Laurie Haller had 480 lb s/c that sold to 335.00 Henrique Reis had 615 lb Blk strs reach 300.00. The Blue Goose Cattle Co. had 548 lb Blk s/c hit 332.00 and their 400 lb Blk Angus h/c reach 290.00. Karen Prebushewski had 643 lb Angus hfrs sell to 252.00, her 568 lb hfrs topped 262.00. Doreen & Leslie Harry had 610 lb Blk strs that brought 297.00. Russ & Barb Abel had 1571 lb Butcher cows hit 120.00. The Huwer Family showcased their outstanding Limo x strs and hfrs. The 775 lb strs brought 257.50 and their 675 lb strs reach 291.00. Jerry Cooper had 973 lb strs that sold to 229.00. Squaw Valley Ranch had 1300 lb hfrs hit 172.00. Carol Fleming had the top kill cow that hit 125.00 at 1550 lb. Egon Steinebach had 2005 lb Butcher bulls top 148.00. Kelly DeStrake put a top on our cow trade with 1675 lb cows at 126.00. Blackwell Dairy had 1855 lb Holstein Butcher cows trade to 114.00. It was one incredible sale of quality cattle. The interest was solid on every weigh range. Next sale in Kamloops March 14th.
