In Kamloops today it was wall to wall buyers as we traded over 500 hd. This sale was strong and quality was excellent. Finlay Farms had a nice group of 772 lb strs top 255.00. The Salle Ranch had 1080 lb strs top 200.00 and 1570 lb cows at 111.50. Telford Farms had 925 lb hfrs sell to 212.00, their 750 lb replacement quality Red Angus hfrs topped 223.00. The Squaw Valley Ranch had 1465 lb Butcher cows top at 116.00. Clifton Ranch of Keremeos saw their Butcher cows bring 112.50. Fred Philps saw his 1155 lb 2 yr old hfrs sell to 160.00 and his 1730 lb top kill cows power to 114.00. Marilyn Gabriel had 1100 lb younger cows sell to 116.00. Reynold Mazu Jr had 1438 lb cows that sold to 114.50. Jon & Bobbi Parkes saw their 1433 lb Butcher cows reach 113.00. We saw powerful quality in the bred hfr and bred cow sale as Finlay Farm’s beautiful Red Angus 1300 lb bred hfrs hit 2675.00, the fancy Red Baldy hfrs reach 2650.00 and the Hereford feather neck hfrs brought 2250.00. Len Tonn of the Diamond T Ranch saw his outstanding Blk Angus Bred hfrs hit 2500.00. Barb Harrison showcased a beautiful herd of Red Angus 2^nd and 3^rd calvers that reached 2775.00, the Red angus 4^th calvers topped 2700.00 and the 5^th calvers sell to 2500.00. Sheryl & Nathan Wurtz of Pritchard saw their young Angus x Bred cows sell to 2525.00. Calvin & Cathy Kirsch from Quesnel set one incredible record with 79 tremendous cows and hfrs. The first group of 1300 lb Blk Simm x hfrs sell to 2900.00, the Red Simm x hfrs raced to 2850.00, 16 hd of their young Red Simm x cows reach 2975.00 and then, the last group of 15 hd also raced to 2925.00. The Clemitson Ranch had a great group of Blk Angus cows sell to 2500.00. Avanlee Farms also had mature Blk Angus bred cows trade to 2150.00.
