Total receipts this week for BC Livestock will hit 9000 hd. Huge numbers here in Kamloops today as we saw over 1600 hd on offer. Earl & SusanWedler had heavy 700 lb s/c top 240.00. Peter & Sharon Philip from the Philip Ranch showcased 137 powerful calves. A ring full of their 666 lb s/c net a record 248.00. 37 hd of their fancy 596 lb s/c raced to 249.00 and an excellent pen of their 612 lb h/c reached 215.00, then 32 hd of their fancy 240 lb h/c brought 220.25. The Ogilvie Stock Ranch brought their powerful Hereford calves 620 lb s/c raced to 238.00 and their 547 lb Hereford s/c hit 248.00. Bill & Kelly Jackson had heavy 671 lb Angus x s/c raced to 245.00 and 13 hd of their powerful 639 lb Angus x h/c set in at 215.00. Andy Ciancone had a ring full of top calves, 628 lb Angus x s/c marking 243.25, their 519 lb s/c hit 260.00 and the 526 lb Angus x h/c saw 225.00. George Little had a Gelbvieh x 565 lb s/c trade to 251.00. Brian & Jacquie Ciancone saw their heavy 645 lb Angus x s/c top 245.00 and their 546 lb h/c saw 218.00. The Silver Spur Ranch ( The Trenholm Family ) saw their big 718 lb Angus x s/c top 245.00 or 1759.10 each and their 610 lb Red x h/c hit 213.00. John & Cathy Bakker saw their 673 lb Blk s/c hit 244.50, their 565 lb s/c sold to 250.00 and their 612 lb Blk h/c brought 218.50. Trish & Alana Duncan of Valemount saw their 661 lb Red x s/c hit 250.00, the 561 lb s/c raced to 261.50 and their fancy 571 lb h/c hit 217.50. Gary Cleveland saw his 949 lb Angus strs sell to 211.00. Lee Creek Holdings had 701 lb Char s/c hit 246.00, the 451 lb s/c brought 287.00 and the 667 lb h/c sold to 217.50. Len Tonn of the Diamond T Ranch had 810 lb hfrs sell to 205.00 and the 950 lb hfrs hit 195.00. Terry Johnson from Armstrong had 918 lb Blk Angus hfrs topping 205.50. Chris & Gordon Hudson had a top group of 668 lb s/c topping 246.50 and the 760 lb s/c brought 245.50 or 1865.80 per hd. The Anchor 6 Ranch show cased 67 top calves. Their ring full of 607 lb Blk Angus s/c hit 257.00, 18 hd of their 502 lb Angus x s/c hit 271.50 and a pen of their 478 lb h/c set in at 234.50. Bob & Ruth Black with 108 top calves. Their 601 lb Angus s/c topped their weight range at 252.00 and a pen of their 525 lb s/c hit 262.50. The Nicola Ranch had a liner load of 1010 lb hfrs hit 204.00 and 34 hd of their fancy 601 lb h/c set the record at 214.00. The Prebushewski Families of Cherryville showcased their top load of Limo x s/c that reached 245.25, their 556 lb s/c hit 257.50 and the 452 lb s/c sold to 274.00. Ian & Brenda Jones had 576 lb Angus x s/c sell to 251.00 and the 476 lb s/c hit 270.00 Fennell Ranches filled the ring with 42 hd of top 628 lb Blk Angus strs selling to 245.00 and the 558 lb h/c brought 221.75. Peter Pooli of Valemount saw his 845 lb Simm x s/c hit 225.00. Doug Allen from Rough Creek Cattle Co had 713 lb s/c that hit 244.00 and his powerful 684 lb h/c hit 210.00. Dori Hampton from Clinton had 617 lb Blk Angus s/c at 244.00 and her 535 lb s/c top 267.00. Eric Bergstrand saw his 557 lb s/c top 250.00 and the 456 lb s/c bring 275.00.
