Williams Lake saw 650 hd of cattle roll though our ring sale August 25 and the majority of the receipts were yearlings.  Dunlevy Ranch started the day off with 831 lb strs rolling to 229.00 and their heavier brothers, 910 lb hit 221.00. Sunnyside Ranch, the Webster Family saw their fancy 820 lb strs topping 237.00, their 926 lb strs hit 222.25. Al & Janet Kuhn saw their fancy Red hfrs 747 lb top 215.50. Don Chambers had lighter flesh 650 lb strs topping 247.00, his 730 lb hfrs hit 218.00. Stirrup Ranch filled the ring with big solid 911 lb Hereford strs topping 225.00 and their 825 lb strs hit 230.75. Ermal Guci of Quesnel had a top group of 927 lb Blk strs sell to 225.00. Ingrid Kallman’s 603 lb Blk strs sold to 246.00, the 700 lb strs reached 241.00. James and Lisa Laundry of Quesnel had a load of 1000 lb Angus strs hit 214.00 and their 923 lb strs sold to 223.00. Scott & Julie Meyer had fancy 1008 lb Simm x hfrs that sold to 193.50 and their top 935 lb hfrs hit 207.00. Marvin & Cris Monical had 755 lb strs top 241.50. Ed & Cheryl Monical saw their powerful 938 lb strs top 225.00. The lighter brothers 810 lb raced to 239.50 and they had fancy 952 lb exotic hfrs top 210.00. Calvin & Cathy Kirsh saw their 827 lb hfrs hit 209.00. We saw a few calves come to town. Al & Lorraine Sanford saw their 388 lb s/c hit 304.00 and their 405 lb h/c top 260.00. Chilancoh Ranch had 383 lb s/c reached 292.50 and the 400 lb Angus h/c traded to 267.50. The cow market today was steady. Sanford’s saw their Exotic x 1450 lb cow top 110.00. The bulk of the medium fleshy cows brought 105.00 – 107.00. Bulls were also steady. The top bull was from Jaspers, 2140 lbs reaching 139.50. Kings View Ranch had a 1925 lb Blk bull that sold to 135.00. The Stirrup Ranch had 1340 lb Butcher cows bring 107.50. The next sale in Williams Lake is Thursday September 8^th
