Excellent receipts again this week here in Kamloops as we approach the 450 hd mark. Lots of feeders this week and they were strong. The Richter Ranch set a trend today with 488 lb Angus s/c as they hit 250.00, the 545 lb s/c also hit 249.00. The Rough Creek Cattle Co, had Red Angus cow/calf pairs top 2050.00. Mueller Farms came to town with a liner load of powerful calves. Their 745 lb strs topped the trade at 208.50, then they filled the ring with 15 excellent hfrs all Angus x, 759 lb that raced to 178.50. 20 hd of their 627 lb hfrs hit 190.00 and 21 hd of their 524 lb Angus x h/c hit 200.00. TF Cattle Co’s 1389 lb Butcher cows hit 102.50. Fred Bowers 1331 lb Red x Butcher cows sold to 105.75. Dixon Creek Farms had a 1975 lb top bull that hit 134.00. Herb Bulman from Valemount dispersed his quality cow/calf Angus pairs. The beautiful Angus pairs topped 2090.00. Hat Creek Land & Cattle Co filled the ring with 23 hfrs 689 lb that hit 191.00. Kingsvale Cattle Co of Merritt had 706 lb Red x hfrs reach 186.00. Tom & Gail Hanna saw their fancy 926 lb Red strs hit 187.00 and the 950 lb hfrs brought 162.00. Anchor 6 Ranch saw their 1260 lb Butcher cows race to 106.00. The Jamison Creek Ranch had 1990 lb Butcher bulls hit 129.00. Gary Andrews had 2385 lb Butcher bulls top the bull trade at 134.50 and 1775 lb cows were also top of the sale at 111.00. Blackwell Dairy’s excellent Holstein Butcher cows 1567 lb hit 92.00.
