Steve Langenegger set a pace today as his 618 lb Red Angus s/c raced to 226.00, their 578 lb h/c saw 196.00. Brian & Kim Stuart had 623 lb Blk Angus h/c power to 184.00. Laurie Haller had 530 lb h/c set in at 208.00. J.P Enterprises had some excellent roping hfrs in, 485 lb perfect horns and ready for action trade to 95.00. Louise Demarni and Brian Foley Sr had 550 lb s/c top 228.00. Steve Langenegger from Salmon Arm had 1670 lb Butcher cows top 102.00. Brian Foley Jr had 565 lb s/c race to 226.00. John & Judy Greenall had 1640 lb cows top 101.50, their 814 lb Hereford hfrs hit 180.00 and 900 lb Hereford hfrs top 175.00. Fred & Barb Watkinson from Lillooet filled the ring with 8 powerful Hereford hfrs that weighed 703 lb and raced to 184.00. Schweb Family Cattle saw their 735 lb Blk strs sell to 199.50, the 541 lb Blk s/c sold to 225.00 and the 523 lb h/c sold to 195.00. The 20X Ranch had top 1341 lb Butcher cows sell to 102.50. John & Kate Anderson sold a fancy ring full of 601 lb Blk hfrs at 193.00. The Squaw Valley Ranch had solid 1500 lb Butcher cows that brought 104.50. The Chutter Ranch had a liner load of powerful calves. They filled the ring with 23 803 lb strs that hit 189.25, the big brothers were 913 lb and set in at 180.00. 7 hd of their 623 lb hfrs set the record at 190.00. 31 hd of hfrs in one group that weighed 738 lb notched 180.00. Marv Hodge from Armstrong put a top on our Butcher Bulls. The 1970 lb bull traded to 122.00 and 1670 lb Butcher cows at 103.50. The Kingsvale Cattle Co had 846 lb strs top 181.00, the big boys just about 1000 lb hit 174.00, their 700 lb strs hit 195.00. What an incredible day.
