KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH
Again the numbers keep rolling in and interest was good on feeder classes today as we saw 500 head sold.  Butcher cows were lower throughout the sale.  Albert Dupuis saw his heavy 2040 lb. butcher cows top 71.00.  Bar D Bar Ranch had 1905 lb. bulls to 84.00.  Steve Shannon put the power to the yearling trade with 925 lb. steers from Magna Bay racing to 124.25.  Glen Kooistra with 773 lb. heifers from Westwold trading to 119.50.  George Little’s heavy 1076 lb. Red & Black yearling steers topped 116.25, his 993 lb. steers blew 121.00, his 1013 lb. heifers to 115.25.  Ludi Proulx had 1600 lb. butcher cows trade to 72.00, their 420 lb. s/c  trade to 166.00.  Elsie Fehr with some excellent Char X h/c’s 603 lb. they traded to 133.00.  Kurt Holmes from Merritt had 870 lb. steers top 130.75.  Bill Stirling with heavy 997 lb. steers trading to 119.50.  Ken & Linda Allison saw their 879 lb. Red & Black steers trade to 127.75.  Gordon & Joan Brett had 748 lb. heifers top 125.25.  The Arrowhead Ranch saw their heavy 971 lb. steers trade to 123.75, their 873 lb. steers topped 130.00.  Leanne Stoltzfus saw her 1000 lb. steers hit 120.25.  Ed Everett’s 946 lb. spay Char heifers hit 120.25.  Brad Hawrluk’s 1000 lb. Red heifers rolled to 115.00.  Indian Garden’s Ranch saw their 917 lb. Angus heifers hit 119.75.  Bob & Suzanne Brash saw their 538 lb. Black s/c hit 148.50, their 458 lb. s/c brought 154.50.  Gordon Haines 642 lb. Black s/c hit 139.75, his 511 lb. h/c topped 146.50.  Fennell Ranch had 682 lb. steers sell to  140.00, the 533 h/c rolled to 147.00.  The Guichon Ranch 891 lb. steers topped 127.75 their 823 lb. steers topped 128.75.
